Job summary

W Executive is partnering with a leading packaging industry player to recruit a General Manager who will steer strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth. The role demands strong industrial leadership, commercial acumen, and a proven record of managing complex manufacturing operations.

The candidate will oversee manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives while ensuring HSE culture and financial discipline

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in general management or senior operational leadership within food/packaging sectors.
• Proven track record of full P&L ownership and delivering sustainable financial results.
• Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication at executive levels.

Responsibilities

• Assume full P&L accountability and drive revenue growth and profitability.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans aligned with objectives.
• Report financial and operational KPIs to senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities for expansion, efficiency gains, and sustainable growth.
• Oversee manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain operations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary management team across Operations, Sales, Finance and HR.
