Job summary

Sofitel Barcelona Skipper ofrece una pasantía dinámica en el área de Ventas y Restauración, diseñada para estudiantes de Hostelería o Business School. Aprenderás a brindar un servicio de sala excelente, tomar pedidos y conocer el contenido del menú para recomendar opciones a los huéspedes.

Requisitos: ser estudiante en Hostelería o Negocios, dominio del español e inglés, disponibilidad de 6 meses, 40 h/semana. Se ofrece una ayuda de estudios de 600 € brutos/mes y una comida diaria.

Qualifications

• Requisitos: estar legalmente autorizado para realizar prácticas en España.
• Actualmente matriculado en una Escuela de Hostelería o de Negocios.
• Buenas habilidades sociales y de comunicación.
• Proactivo, entusiasta y detallista.
• Dominio del español e inglés; francés es valorado.
• Dispuesto a aprender (sin especialización previa requerida).
• Disponible al menos 6 meses, 5 días/semana, 40 h/semana.

Responsibilities

• Proporcionar un servicio de sala excelente para garantizar la satisfacción de los huéspedes.
• Aprender a tomar pedidos y servir comida y bebidas.
• Aprender a usar diligentemente el sistema POS, ingresar pedidos y corregirlos si es necesario.
• Conocer el contenido de la carta para hacer recomendaciones y responder preguntas a los huéspedes.
• Cumplir con estándares y procedimientos para completar tareas a tiempo.
• Comunicar eficazmente con compañeros y huéspedes para una transición de información suave.
• Desempeñar todas las funciones del departamento de F&B.

• Providing excellent wait service to guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Learn to take customer orders and delivering food and beverages.
• Learn using the POS system diligently, entering orders and making corrections if necessary.
• Learning food and beverage content to make menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons.
• Carry out set standards and procedures to ensure all tasks and responsibilities are carried out in a timely manner.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and guests alike in order to secure a smooth and accurate transition of information.
• Carry out all roles and functions of the F&B department.

Requisitos

• Eligibility (Spain): Candidates must have the legal right to undertake an internship in Spain from the start date. No visa/work permit sponsorship available.
• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality School or a Business School.
• Strong social and communication skills to build valued relationships.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent command of Spanish and English; French is a plus.
• Eager to learn (no prior specialization required).
• Available for at least 6 months, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week.
