Job summary

Almanac Barcelona is seeking a hospitality student for internship duties. You will assist with preparing and cleaning workstations, deliver services with a focus on guest satisfaction, and handle cashier tasks under supervision in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Applicants should have a high level of English, Spanish (and other languages a plus), and prior internship experience in the same department is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Student in Hospitality/Tourism or related field.
• HACCP training is an advantage.
• High level of English.
• Spanish and other languages are a plus.
• Previous internship experience in the same department is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and cleaning of the workstation, equipment and facilities.
• Assist in delivering the assigned service with focus on guest satisfaction.
• Clear and clean the workstation after service and prepare for the next service.
• Perform cashier duties under supervision (welcoming guests, managing the cash register/POS, and saying farewell to guests).
