Job summary

Planet is seeking a results-driven commercial professional to grow its airline and inflight payments business across the European Union. You will develop new opportunities, build partnerships and help customers improve onboard payment acceptance and revenue through Planet Gateway and acquiring services.

You will combine new-business development with long-term relationship management, working with airlines, inflight retailers, aviation tech partners and software vendors to deliver measurable

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in business development or sales in payments or aviation.
• Proven track record of winning new business and growing revenue.
• Experience selling to airlines, travel retailers or complex enterprise clients.
• Strong knowledge of card acquiring, gateways, and multi-currency payments.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the European Union.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow airline and inflight payments in the EU.
• Identify and secure opportunities with airlines and aviation operators.
• Build pipeline for onboard payments for coffee, food and duty-free sales.
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
• Maintain executive relationships with airline commercial, retail and finance teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard customers and drive revenue growth.
• Drive adoption of inflight payment solutions for onboard retail and digital channels.
• Create reliable payment journeys across onboard POS, websites and apps.
• Promote solutions that improve acceptance and revenue while reducing reconciliation effort.
