RHI Magnesita is seeking a Payroll Manager EMEA based in Oviedo, Spain. You will oversee payroll delivery across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance while governing outsourced providers.

You will contribute to a regional transformation project, drive standardisation, and help stabilise a harmonised payroll model across the region. The role requires strong stakeholder management and fluency in English, with Spanish or other European languages

Formación

• Several years of experience in payroll operations or payroll leadership.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, governance and compliance across multiple countries; EMEA experience is an advantage.
• Experience with payroll systems and payroll transformation projects; SAP HCM or Workday knowledge is an advantage.
• Proven experience governing external payroll providers, including SLA/KPI management, service reviews and continuous improvement.
• Experience with payroll outsourcing transitions, provider implementations or regional/global country migrations is highly desirable.
• Transformation mindset, with the ability to work in a project environment and implement new tools and ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, adaptability and the ability to operate in a multicultural environment.
• Languages: English – fluent; Spanish and/or other European languages are an advantage.
• Mandatory certifications: Payroll-related certification or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Nice to have: Experience leading payroll outsourcing or regional/global payroll service delivery models.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring accurate, timely, compliant payroll delivery across Europe, MEA.
• Support regional payroll transformation projects and standardisation.
• Provide payroll guidance on processes, compliance and country topics.
• Own outsourced payroll service delivery including governance and KPIs.
• Manage escalations with payroll providers and drive corrective actions.
