Job summary

IT Company in Barcelona is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our EMEA IT Support team, focused on delivering remote support to German-speaking users across the region. The role is based in Barcelona with a Hybrid work model and involves collaboration with global IT teams to ensure stable and secure services.

You will support onboarding, hardware lifecycle, and incident resolution, maintaining IT documentation and helping drive improvements in our IT environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT Support / IT Service Desk role within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory.
• Experience with ITSM / ticketing tools (ServiceNow is a strong plus).
• German language (native or C-level) mandatory; good English communication skills.
• Structured, organised and able to manage multiple tasks across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote IT support from Barcelona to internal colleagues across EMEA, focusing on German-speaking users.
• Handle incidents and service requests related to hardware, software, and internal IT infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation.
• Coordinate with Global IT teams and external vendors when required.
• Monitor and support IT security measures, including software updates.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Support asset management, inventory tracking and hardware lifecycle planning.
• Act as a reliable IT contact for local management and reporting activities.
