Placements24 is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee a cluster of Eastern Cape retail stores from Queenstown. The role emphasizes strategic leadership, performance management, and regional planning to ensure consistency with company standards.

You will drive sales growth, optimize operations, and lead a high-performing team across multiple sites with a hybrid work arrangement based in the Queenstown area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in retail operations management, including multi-site leadership.
• Proven ability to drive operational performance and sales targets.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to develop teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with retail management systems and relevant software.
• Knowledge of Queenstown, Eastern Cape region is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of all retail stores in the Eastern Cape cluster.
• Develop and implement strategic operational plans to maximize sales and profitability.
• Manage regional budgets and identify cost savings and growth opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop store managers and their teams.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, merchandising standards, and guidelines.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and HR to align regional goals.
• Drive inventory management, loss prevention, and efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct regular store visits and performance reviews.
