Job summary

TransPerfect in Barcelona is seeking an energetic Helpdesk/IT Support Desktop Specialist for a full-time role in our Barcelona office. This associate/mid-level position requires at least 2 years of experience and offers exposure to an enterprise computing environment.

You will troubleshoot, install, and support Windows and Mac platforms, and assist users with peripherals and network basics. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, and capable of documenting

Qualifications

Fluent English language required.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Self-motivated with good reasoning.
Proficient in Windows desktop OS (Windows 11 Pro).
MacOS knowledge is a plus.
Comfort with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Basic networking knowledge (DHCP, DNS, cabling).
Experience with antivirus/spyware removal.
Ability to diagnose and fix problems quickly.
Good documentation of issues and resolutions.
Team-oriented and communicative.
Familiarity with Active Directory is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide installation and support of PC and some Apple hardware and software, including peripherals.
Receive and respond to calls and emails regarding workstation issues.
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve workstation problems on-site and via remote repair.
Log, report, and monitor helpdesk requests per procedures.
Aim for high user satisfaction with timely follow-up and clear communication.
