Hack In Hire is seeking a CyberSecurity Engineer (Pre-sales) to join our client-focused team in Barcelona. You will lead technical discovery, tailor solutions, and deliver compelling demos and PoCs to move opportunities forward.

The role requires 3–5 years in technical pre-sales or related cybersecurity roles, excellent communication, and the ability to translate complex security concepts into business value. Fluency in English is essential, with Spanish a plus.

• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear business value.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their security operations, architecture, and pain points.
• Design and present customized solutions that demonstrate the value and impact of our client’s platform.
• Conduct live product demos and PoCs, ensuring technical success and high engagement.
• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, documentation, and solution diagrams to support the sales process.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, define technical requirements, and shorten sales cycles.
• Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback with Product and Engineering teams to enhance Our Client’s offering.

We at Hack In Hire are looking for a CyberSecurity Engineer (Pre-sales) on behalf of our Client.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical discovery sessions with prospects to understand their security operations, architecture, and pain points.


• Design and present customized solutions that demonstrate the value and impact of our Clients platform.


• Conduct live product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs), ensuring technical success and high engagement.


• Prepare and deliver technical proposals, documentation, and solution diagrams to support the sales process.


• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, define technical requirements, and shorten sales cycles.


• Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback with Product and Engineering teams to enhance Our Client´s offering.


• Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competing solutions, and industry standards to position clients effectively.

What We're Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or cybersecurity architecture within a software vendor or SaaS environment.


• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, architectures, and tools.


• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex technical sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.


• Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, able to translate technical concepts into clear business value.


• Experience with scripting (e.g., Python) or security automation tools is a plus.


• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.


• Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is desirable.
