Our teams support the design, deployment and operations of critical Ground Segment infrastructures, delivering engineering and operational services across Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

THE ROLE

We are looking for Junior and Senior Cyber Security professionals to join the cybersecurity team supporting the E-GNSS Transversal infrastructure, within the framework of the E-GNSS Transversal Service (ETS).

The role combines cybersecurity administration and operational activities, with a focus on maintaining a secure and resilient infrastructure. Depending on experience and seniority, the position will involve security monitoring and incident response, vulnerability management, access and permissions management, secure configuration and hardening, security tools administration, and support to cybersecurity compliance and operational activities.

You will work in a highly critical Ground Segment environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary and international teams to maintain and continuously improve the security posture of the infrastructure.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR
  • Degree/Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
  • Previous professional experience in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Security Operations or System Administration.
  • For the Senior profile, solid professional experience in cybersecurity is expected; the Junior profile can be considered with a more limited professional background.
  • Knowledge of security monitoring technologies, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms.
  • Experience or knowledge of incident investigation and response, including the analysis of security events, logs and suspicious activities.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability assessment, risk evaluation, prioritisation and remediation.

  • Understanding of threat intelligence, emerging threats and common attack vectors.
  • Ability to handle classified and sensitive information in accordance with applicable security procedures.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international environment.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Spanish is considered an additional asset but is not mandatory.
  • Experience in GNSS, aerospace or other critical infrastructures is considered a strong plus.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as GSEC, GIAC, CISSP or CCSP are considered an advantage.
  • Eligibility for security clearance.
  • Availability to work on-site in Torrejón. Partial remote working may be agreed with the Customer upon contract start.
  • Willingness to provide on-call support outside regular working hours.
