CETRA BASE in Spain/France seeks a Senior Cyber security engineer to support the EU Space Programme's EUSPA. You will work on cyber deliverables, SOC operations, and security assessments across space projects.

The role requires a strong background in cybersecurity, engineering or IT, proficiency in English, and eligibility for EU security clearance; travel within Europe is expected. The position offers a permanent contract and a competitive salary package.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in Space projects.
• 5+ years in a similar cybersecurity role.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Eligible for security clearance and EU travel.

Responsabilidades

• Review cyber deliverables under Cyber SOC responsibility.
• Operate non-real-time tools in the Cyber SOC.
• Participate in regular internal pentesting activities.
• Contribute to Cyber Review Boards and SOC reports.
• Maintain GSMC Threat Analysis archive and procedures.
• Provide vulnerability management services.
• Support pentesting activities.
• Forensics, Malware Analysis activities.
• Cyber threat landscape analysis.

CETRA BASE is currently looking for Senior Cyber security engineers to support EUSPA, the EU Agency for the Space Programme.

Positions can be based at any of the EUSPA sites in Spain or France.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the review of cyber deliverables under responsibility of the Cyber SOC (lockdown reports, hardening reports, vuln reports, patch reports, cyber plans);
• Operations of non-real-time tools within the Cyber SOC (VMT, NMT, CTI platform, Analysis platform);
• Contribute to regular internal pentesting activities
• Contribute to Cyber Review Boards;
• Contribute to SOC cyber reports;
• Keep GSMC Threat Analysis archive and related procedures up to date;
• Vulnerability management services
• Support to pentesting activities
• Forensics Analysis services
• Malware Analysis services
• Cyber Threat landscape analysis

Essential qualifications and experience

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in Space projects
• 5+ years of experience on a similar role
• Excellent team worker
• Ability to work in a multicultural team
• Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible for security clearance
• Availability to travel within Europe

Security

In line with security requirements of the EU Space programme the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
