Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Shipboard Slot Technician to install, service, adjust and repair coin-operated slot machines, currency changers, video arcade games and related equipment aboard our ships.

You will maintain signage and computerized gym equipment, read safety rules, and interact professionally with guests and shipboard staff while solving problems and ensuring accurate monetary handling.

Qualifications

• Formal training in repair and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience as a slot technician in live casinos preferred (shipboard experience preferred).
• Ability to read safety rules, instructions for tools and equipment, and mechanical drawings.
• Proven customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and shipboard staff.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with guests, department heads and shipboard employees to resolve problems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to count currency quickly and accurately and perform basic monetary calculations.
• Completion of high school or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, adjusts and repairs coin-operated slot machines, currency changers, video arcade games and currency/coin-handling equipment aboard the shipboard casino.
• Maintains and repairs signage and computerized gym equipment.
