Job summary

Avis Budget Group International in Barcelona is seeking a CRM Senior Specialist to join our EMEA Marketing CRM team. You will deliver BAU and promotional email campaigns across 15+ markets and languages, from planning to deployment, ensuring high QA standards.

You’ll own audience segmentation, leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (AMPscript, Dynamic Content) and collaborate with Brand, Legal and Compliance. Remote work up to 4 days a week, with a permanent contract and a salary of 35,000–40,000

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of CRM/email marketing experience.
• Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AMPscript and data extensions.
• Experience with audience segmentation and dynamic content.
• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy BAU and promotional email campaigns.
• Maintain the EMEA campaign calendar across 15+ markets and languages.
• Develop audience segmentation and personalised communications.
• Collaborate with Brand, Legal and Compliance for approvals.
• Support campaign optimization through A/B testing and analytics.
• Monitor performance, engagement and deliverability.
• Maintain QA standards and troubleshoot campaigns.
• Contribute to multilingual content library and AI-enabled workflows.
• Utilize CRM tools such as Jira and Litmus.

Job description

We’re looking for a CRM Senior Specialist to join our EMEA Marketing CRM team in Barcelona. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering BAU and promotional email campaigns across 15+ EMEA markets and multiple languages, from campaign planning and segmentation through testing, approval and deployment.

What will you do?

• Build, test and deploy BAU and promotional email campaigns
• Own and maintain the EMEA campaign calendar across 15+ markets and languages
• Develop and manage audience segmentation and personalised communications
• Work with Dynamic Content, AMPscript and Data Extensions to deliver targeted campaigns
• Coordinate campaign approvals with local market, Brand, Legal and Compliance teams
• Support A/B testing, uplift analysis and campaign optimisation
• Monitor campaign performance, engagement, conversion and deliverability
• Troubleshoot campaign builds and maintain high QA standards
• Support the development of a scalable, compliant multilingual content library, including the use of AI tools
• Work with JIRA, Litmus and other CRM campaign tools
• Share knowledge and best practices across the wider EMEA CRM team

What are we looking for?

Must have:

• Around 5 years of CRM / email marketing experience
• Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms (Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze , SAP Emarsys).
• Hands-on experience and AMPscript, Liquid or Javascript
• Experience working with Dynamic Content and Data Extensions
• Strong knowledge of audience segmentation
• Excellent English and Spanish communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a solid QA mindset
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and international markets

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud – highly valued, but not essential
• Experience using AI / Generative AI tools for content creation and optimisation
• Additional European languages
• Experience in travel, mobility, retail or another fast-paced B2C environment
