Job summary

Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain in Granada seeks an OpEx Engineer to lead the site Lean Six Sigma program and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. You will apply MOS, RCA, 6S and visual management, coach teams, manage OpEx milestones, and support cross-functional projects to raise performance and capability.

This role requires strong change management, training delivery, and the ability to influence across functions while aligning with site and corporate strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, operations, engineering or operational excellence.
• Knowledge of manufacturing site processes, systems and dynamics.
• Proven experience leading continuous improvement programs.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and project management.
• Experience in change management.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead site OpEx program and champion Lean Six Sigma across Granada manufacturing operations.
• Promote OpEx techniques and tools such as Standard Work, MOS, RCA, 6S and Visual Management.
• Coach and mentor organization members in OpEx practices.
• Drive continuous improvement programs and coordinate portfolio initiatives through OpEx Roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams on RCA, strategic projects and plant shutdown support.
• Support LSS certification processes (Yellow Belt, RCA, VSM).
• Monitor KPIs related to OpEx and supervise business KPIs.
