Impress is seeking a Consumer Finance Specialist at our Barcelona HQ to optimize patient financing across markets. You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and partners to improve approval rates and the patient experience.

The role combines consumer finance operations, partner management, process improvement, and performance analysis in a fast-growing multinational environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial control, payment operations, or consumer finance.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a strong plus.
• Experience with ERP/CRM and analytics platforms; strong Excel/Sheets skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Support financing operations to achieve sales and cash flow targets and optimize patient access.
• Act as main contact for consumer finance across assigned countries and partners.

We’re looking for a Consumer Finance Specialist to join us at our HQ in Barcelona.

As a Consumer Finance Specialist, you will play a key role in enabling patient access to treatment by managing and optimizing financing solutions across multiple markets. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and external financial partners to improve approval rates, enhance the patient experience, and support the company's commercial growth.

This is a cross-functional role combining consumer finance operations, partner management, process improvement, and performance analysis in a fast-growing international environment.

Consumer Finance Operations

• Support the achievement of sales and cash flow targets by ensuring patients have access to the most suitable financing solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact for consumer finance matters across your assigned countries.
• Monitor pending financing applications, resolve escalations, and ensure an excellent patient financing experience.
• Educate Treatment Coordinators (Sales teams) on financing products, eligibility criteria, and application processes.
• Develop operational solutions that simplify and improve the patient financing journey.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, lenders, and financing partners.
• Negotiate commercial terms and financing conditions to secure competitive offers for patients.
• Stay informed about new financing products and market opportunities to continuously expand financing options.

Risk, Compliance & Financial Control

• Monitor credit risk exposure and contribute to the implementation of effective risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
• Support collections recoverability while minimizing financial risk.
• Assist with financial reconciliations in collaboration with the Accounting team.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify opportunities to optimize consumer finance processes and internal controls.
• Participate in the automation of financing applications and sales workflows.
• Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and scalability across markets.

Performance & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain reporting on consumer finance performance.
• Monitor key KPIs such as financing approval rates, conversion, collections, and partner performance.
• Provide regular insights to internal stakeholders and financing partners to support business decisions.

Cross-Functional Projects

• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Accounting, Compliance, and Country teams on strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to business transformation projects that improve consumer finance operations and support international growth.
• Support additional finance-related projects as the business continues to scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial control, payment operations, or consumer finance, preferably in a multinational or multi-entity environment.
• Fluency in English, Spanish is a strong plus.
• Experience working with ERP systems, CRM tools, and analytics platforms.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
• High attention to detail and process discipline.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
