Impress is Europe’s largest orthodontic clinic chain with fully digital processes and a mission to create brighter smiles. We are seeking a People Operations Director to join our HQ in Barcelona and lead all HR and payroll activities.

You will oversee onboarding, policy development, compliance, and employee relations, driving engagement and organizational effectiveness across multiple countries. This role offers growth through comprehensive training and leadership development programs.

Formación

• Extensive experience leading HR operations across multiple countries.
• Deep knowledge of Spanish labour regulations and compliance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and drive initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead HR operations and payroll across the organisation.
• Develop and implement HR policies and employee engagement programs.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, and job changes.
• Ensure legal compliance across HR/payroll functions.
• Serve as main contact for payroll and HR inquiries.
• Monitor HR data accuracy in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Oversee HR audits and implement improvements.
• Lead HR projects to improve efficiency and retention.
• Provide reports on payroll, budgets, and expenses.
• Guide on employee relations and conflict resolution.

We\’re looking for a People Operations Director to join us at our HQ in Barcelona.

• Lead People Operations Team and all aspects of HR operations, including HR administration, systems, payroll.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support employee engagement and company culture.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and job changes
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies across all HR and payroll functions.
• Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to payroll and HR topics
• Monitor and manage HR data accuracy in HRIS and payroll systems.
• Manage HR-related audits/inspections and implement audit recommendations for process improvements.
• Identify and lead HR projects that improve operational efficiency, employee experience, and retention.
• Lead conflict resolution efforts and advise on employee relations issues in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget, and expenses.
• Proven experience in leading HR operations for multiple countries
• Leadership skills with hands‑on approach
• Experienced with Spanish labour regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Passion for HR Operations
