Indra Group is seeking a Collision Avoidance Engineer to join projects focused on collision avoidance, orbit analysis, and space operations support for satellite missions. The role requires relocation to Germany in the coming months and a strong background in astrodynamics and Linux.

You will work on Near Earth orbits, monitor conjunctions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in time-constrained operations, including 24/7 on-call support.

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Astrodynamics, or related field.
• Knowledge of astrodynamics and Near Earth orbits.
• Experience with Linux; willing to relocate to Germany.

We are looking for a Collision Avoidance Engineer with experience in astrodynamics, Near Earth orbits and perturbations, and Linux environments to join projects focused on collision avoidance activities, orbit analysis, and space operations support for satellite missions. This position requires relocation to Germany in the coming months.

? What will you do?

• Support collision avoidance activities for spacecraft operating in Near Earth orbits.
• Perform orbit analysis and assess orbital perturbations affecting satellite trajectories.
• Monitor conjunction events and contribute to collision risk assessment processes.
• Work with operational systems in Linux environments to support mission activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in time-constrained operational scenarios.
• Participate in on-call operational support activities on a 24/7 basis.

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Astrodynamics, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of Astrodynamics.
• Knowledge of Near Earth orbits and orbital perturbations.
• Space Situational Awareness, Collision probability and collision avoidance.
• Intermediate Linux skills.
• Availability for 24/7 on-call support.
• Willingness to relocate to Germany in the coming months.
