Indra Group is seeking an LEO Mission Analysis Engineer to shape mission design and trajectory optimisation for space missions from Madrid. You will perform mission analyses for LEO and deep space and develop tools using Python and Matlab.

The role involves designing low-thrust trajectories, navigation and covariance analyses, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on national and international projects.

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in mission analysis (preferably interplanetary missions).
• Strong knowledge of celestial mechanics and astrodynamics.
• Knowledge of trajectory optimisation theory and low-thrust trajectory optimisation.
• Knowledge of mission analysis covariance, navigation analysis, estimation theory, and related techniques.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and Matlab, with experience in orbital analysis software and tools.

We are looking for a LEO Mission Analysis Engineer with experience in mission analysis and trajectory optimisation for space missions, preferably interplanetary missions, to join projects focused on mission design, orbital analysis, navigation analysis, and low-thrust trajectory optimisation for future space missions.
