Indra Group is seeking a Ground Segment Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design and integration of ground segment solutions for satellite and defense programs. You will manage requirements, system architecture, and interface control documentation while coordinating with customers and partners on national and international projects.

Role requires experience in requirements engineering, system architecture, and interface control.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience in the design and specification of ground segment systems and subsystems.
• Experience with requirements engineering, system architecture, and interface control documentation.
• Working knowledge of software lifecycle tools, including Git, Jira, and Confluence, and ability to interpret UML diagrams and system models.
• Knowledge of space industry standards such as CCSDS, PUS, XTCE, and OGC, as well as ECSS regulations and SATCOM systems.
• High level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Define, manage, and maintain system requirements, architecture, and interface control documentation for ground segment projects.
• Support the design and specification of ground segment systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate system integration, verification, and validation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the technical interface with customers, translating operational needs into engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and external partners, ensuring technical compliance and project alignment.
• Contribute to technical leadership activities within national and international space programs.

We are looking for a Ground Segment Senior Systems Engineer with experience in ground segment systems engineering, requirements management, system architecture, interface control documentation, integration, verification and validation activities for space systems to join projects focused on the design, development, integration, and technical management of space ground segment solutions for satellite, communications, and defense programs.

What will you do?

• Define, manage, and maintain system requirements, architecture, and interface control documentation for ground segment projects.
• Support the design and specification of ground segment systems and subsystems.
• Coordinate system integration, verification, and validation activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the technical interface with customers, translating operational needs into engineering solutions.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and external partners, ensuring technical compliance and project alignment.
• Contribute to technical leadership activities within national and international space programs.
