Indra Group in Spain is seeking a Senior AIT Engineer to join our space programs. You will design, develop, and verify satellite electrical power systems across the full lifecycle from concept to launch.

You will lead electrical architecture definition, coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams, and perform analyses using MATLAB, Simulink, and Altium, supporting national and international missions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite electrical design or similar aerospace projects.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Altium for analysis and hardware design.
• Experience leading electrical system design throughout a project's lifecycle.

We are looking for a Senior AIT Engineer with experience in satellite electrical design and development, spacecraft power systems, electrical architecture, and aerospace hardware engineering to join projects focused on the design, development, integration, verification, and validation of satellite electrical power systems throughout the full lifecycle, from concept to launch.

What will you do?

• Lead the design and development of spacecraft electrical power systems, including solar arrays, batteries, and power electronics.
• Define and manage electrical architectures for satellite platforms, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and applicable standards.
• Coordinate electrical engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support integration, verification, and validation activities during AIT/AIV campaigns and satellite qualification phases.
• Perform system analysis and technical assessments using engineering tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and Altium.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to national and international space programs.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite electrical design and development or similar aerospace projects, including flight programs.
• Strong knowledge of spacecraft solar arrays, battery technologies, power electronics, regulated and unregulated power buses, and peak power tracking (PPT/MMPT).
• Familiarity with space industry standards such as ECSS, MIL-STD, and NASA standards.
• Advanced proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, and Altium for system analysis, simulation, and hardware design.
• Proven experience leading electrical system design activities throughout the complete project lifecycle, from concept definition to launch.
