Indra Group is seeking a Space Systems Engineer in Madrid to lead the design, integration, validation, and operation of advanced satellite systems. You will manage requirements, MBSE activities, and coordination with European partners across the lifecycle from Phase 0 to Phase D.

We expect hands-on space systems engineering experience, spacecraft design expertise, and strong communication skills in English. The role offers involvement in high-impact national and international space programs.

Formación

  • Master's degree in aerospace/related field required.
  • Hands-on experience in a satellite mission lifecycle (Phase 0–D) required.
  • 2+ years in space systems engineering, spacecraft and mission design.
  • Experience with requirements management tools (DOORS or similar).
  • Experience with MBSE tools (Enterprise Architect or similar).
  • Professional-level English fluency required.

Responsabilidades

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor activities within European projects.

  • Coordinate and follow up on work across Indra areas.
  • Prepare technical progress reports for the European Commission.

We are looking for a Space Systems Engineer with experience in the full lifecycle of satellite missions from Phase 0 to Phase D, including spacecraft and mission design, systems engineering, requirements management, MBSE, and satellite development activities to join projects focused on the design, integration, validation, and operation of advanced satellite systems and space missions.

What will you do?
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor activities within European projects, reporting progress to the Program and Partners.
  • Coordinate activities with national and international partners.
  • Coordinate, formalize, and follow up on the work carried out by all areas involved within Indra.
  • Prepare technical progress reports for the European Commission.
  • Lead meetings and present results to project partners.

  • Full lifecycle hands-on experience in a satellite mission from Phase 0 to Phase D.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in space systems engineering, spacecraft design, and mission design.

  • Experience with MBSE tools such as Enterprise Architect or similar.
  • Professional-level English fluency.
