Imerys is hiring a Sales Manager for Ceramics in Spain & Portugal, based in Castelló/València. You will drive profitable growth, manage a portfolio of ~50 ceramic customers, and lead strategic account planning with cross-functional teams.

Travel across Spain/Portugal is expected. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in sales management, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a passion for customer-centric selling.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in/serving the Ceramic market.
• 5+ years of experience in a Sales Manager position.
• Strong customer sense.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Business acumen and technical appetite.
• Good understanding of basic financial and legal concepts.
• Outgoing, result oriented, concern for impact, good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to positively influence others w/o direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote preventive measures.
• Grow profitable sales across Spain & Portugal and manage ~50 customers.
• Define and execute a robust commercial strategy and action plan.
• Lead commercial negotiations with price increases and favorable terms.
• Maintain customer visits (up to 60% travel) and document reports in CRM.
• Address significant customer complaints and capture Voice of the Customers.
• Improve cash collection, DSO, and payment terms.
• Gather market intelligence and document in CRM.
• Generate and champion ideas for New Products to feed the pipeline.
• Develop New Business and cross-sell opportunities; manage budgets and forecasts for S&OP.
