IOM Madrid seeks a dedicated facilitator to provide essential information and orientation to migrants in a reception facility, ensuring they understand available services, rights, and responsibilities.

You will map local health, social, and educational resources, encourage migrant participation in decision-making, and organize activities to build resilience and autonomy while reporting issues to supervision.

Formación

• Secondary school qualification is required.
• A degree in social sciences, humanities, or a relevant field is advantageous.
• A minimum of one year of humanitarian experience is required.
• Experience coordinating and communicating with government authorities, diplomatic entities, and other stakeholders is necessary.
• Prior work with international organisations, NGOs, or governmental institutions is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clear, timely, and culturally sensitive information to migrants in the reception facility.
• Identify and map local health, social, and educational services to facilitate access.
• Promote migrant participation in decision-making and gather feedback.
• Organize individual and group activities to build resilience and autonomy.
• Record, track, and address beneficiary feedback; report issues to supervision.
• Help prevent and mediate tensions within the facility and support data collection.
