Knick Elektronische Messgeräte GmbH & Co. KG is expanding in Spain and Portugal and seeks an experienced sales expert (f/m/d) to develop the market in Central-Northern Spain. The role can be part-time or full-time (80–100%).

The candidate will travel 60–80% and should have a background in chemical/biotech sales, plus technical engineering education. Based in Spain, you will manage projects, build client relationships, and participate in trade events to grow our regional footprint.

Formación

• Sales experience in chemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• Degree in chemical engineering or another technical engineering discipline preferred.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally; business-level Spanish & English.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage sales projects with clients in chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, food and energy sectors.
• Own a specific region or client profile and prepare quotations.
• Conduct demonstrations and presentations to attract new clients.
• Focus on acquiring new clients and consolidating the existing portfolio.
• Strategically expand the network of contacts with decision-makers.
• Participate in trade fairs and events.

At its Berlin site, Knick designs and manufactures analysers, sensors and retractable systems for the most demanding applications in the field of pH, ORP, conductivity and dissolved oxygen measurement. In order to continue expanding our operations in Spain and Portugal, we are seeking an experienced sales expert (f/m/d), on a part-time or full-time basis (80 - 100 %). Preferably based in the central-northern region of Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Independent management of sales projects with clients primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology, food and energy sectors.
• Responsible for a specific region or client profile.
• Preparing quotations, monitoring and closing projects.
• Independently conducting demonstrations and presentations to attract new clients.
• Focus on acquiring new clients, as well as consolidating the existing client portfolio.
• Strategic expansion of the network of contacts in the aforementioned sectors with various decision-makers.
• Participation in trade fairs and events.

Your profile

• Sales experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• A degree in chemical engineering or another technical engineering discipline is preferred.
• Negotiation skills, the ability to convey enthusiasm and a knack for closing sales.
• A passion for sales.
• A proactive approach and excellent communication skills with existing and new clients.
• Fluency in Spanish and English at a business level.
• High level of flexibility and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (from time to time).
• Place of work: Central-Northern Spain
• Percentage of time spent travelling: 60 – 80
• Ideally based in Madrid or surrounding area
