Jobgether is partnering with a client in Spain to hire an Applied AI Engineer. You will design and build agentic AI systems, manage context, tools, and orchestration, and drive integration of coding agents into development workflows.

This early core team role emphasizes architectural decisions, technical standards, and long‑term AI strategy, with strong collaboration across product and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with production-ready AI systems experience.
• Practical experience building AI or agentic systems in production.
• Understanding reliability, latency, context management, failure modes, evaluation, observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the technical foundations of agentic systems.
• Develop reusable AI infrastructure for new workflows.
• Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance and reliability.
• Integrate testing, tracing, and evaluation into the software lifecycle.
• Create AI-assisted engineering workflows with LLMs.
• Enable coding agents and subagents to operate with minimal human intervention.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Establish scalable architectural patterns and engineering standards.
