Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Mid/Senior AI LLM Engineer based in Spain for a remote-first role. You will develop, fine-tune, and optimize self-hosted large language models, spanning data preparation, GPU experiments, evaluation, and production deployment.

You will enhance multilingual interactions, memory, and personality consistency while collaborating with AI, product, web, and DevOps teams. The role focuses on open-weight models, LoRA/QLoRA techniques, and practical evaluation frameworks,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience fine-tuning open-weight LLMs and deploying in production.
• Strong Python programming with ML workflows.
• Experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face or similar frameworks.
• Experience with SFT, LoRA, QLoRA.
• Familiarity with DPO or GRPO.
• Experience preparing and curating training data and evaluating model quality.
• GPU-based training, performance optimization, and debugging.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Fine-tune and optimize open-weight LLMs to improve conversational quality and personalization.
• Prepare and enhance training datasets for effective learning.
• Design evaluation frameworks and benchmarks for model quality.
• Improve conversational memory and multilingual capabilities.
• Investigate failures and adjust data and configurations accordingly.
