act digital is seeking an experienced IT support specialist to maintain and support applications across the organization. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, assist in deployments, and provide 24x7 standby support as needed, working in shifts.

The role demands 3–5 years in application maintenance, strong knowledge of Windows/Linux and databases, and excellent English communication. A high school diploma is required, with the option to grow within a global tech group.

• Three to five years of experience in application maintenance and IT support.
• Knowledge of client/server applications in Windows/Linux.
• Strong database management knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day maintenance of applications and tools for the organization.
• Perform database administration tasks of MSSQL and open source databases.
• Resolve Tier-2 application issues and escalate Tier-3 as needed.
• Assist in evaluating, configuring and installing new releases.
• Support system upgrades and modifications during deployments.
• Respond to end-user queries from remote locations.
• Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer for applications.

Job Description :

• Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of applications and tools for the organization
• Perform database administration tasks of MSSQL and open source databases
• Resolve in a timely manner Tier-2 application issues and elevate Tier-3 issues to Designated focal points
• Assist in the evaluation, configuration and installation of new releases in accordance with established configuration management standards
• Assist in applications structural changes required during system upgrades
• Assist in the deployment of tools and in the implementation of processes to assist in operational support
• Assist in responding to application-related queries from end users in remote locations
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to Tier-1 and deliver end-user training sessions on the application functionality.
• Assist in the development and in the updating of software applications related documentation, including technical documentation and system reports, attend operational and other meetings
• Provide standby and on-call 24×7 support, and work in shifts when requested;
• Provide other ad hoc support either within your team or in other teams as required – this includes the participation in special projects or support to service delivery for short period of time on a part-time or full-time basis upon request from the senior management.

Profile / Requirements :

• Three to five years of experience in application maintenance and general IT support;
• Good working knowledge of client/server applications in a Windows/Linux environment;
• Good working knowledge of Database Management;
• Very good knowledge of English (both written and verbal) is required.
