Job summary

JBT Marel seeks an European AP Operations Specialist based in Madrid to support invoice processing, approvals, and exception handling with APAdvantage. You will work with the AP Accounting team and other SSC departments to ensure accuracy, SOX/compliance, and timely processing.

The role requires at least two years in Accounts Payable, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and strong English communication. Occasional international travel and collaboration across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 2+ years in AP
• Experience in Accounts Payable and financial systems
• High English level (B2-C1), strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Utilize APAdvantage to drive invoice processing, approvals, and compliance
• Book invoices directly on ERP for entities
• Review APAdvantage correspondence and exception inbox
• Process vendor invoices and credit memos
• Collaborate with purchasing teams to resolve issues and improve processes
• Support intercompany invoicing and Excel data analysis
