Chubb in Madrid seeks an Underwriting Operations Technician (Online) to oversee AI-assisted processing across SME portfolios, ensuring accuracy, compliance and client trust. This is a temporary 12-month assignment focused on governance of digital workflows and human-in-the-loop decisioning.

You will triage AI outputs, validate data, and collaborate with technology and operations to refine rules. Fluency in English and Italian, plus a proactive mindset, are essential.

Competenze

• Business-level English and Italian; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Experience in an insurance or financial services operations role.
• Comfort working within AI-augmented environments and curious about automation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to articulate why a human decision differs from an automated recommendation.
• Willingness to develop deep product knowledge across SME lines as a Subject Matter Expert.

Mansioni

• Monitor AI-assisted processing queues and triage exceptions within SLAs.
• Review AI-extracted data against source documents and ensure quality.
• Apply underwriting operations expertise to edge cases and document rationale.
• Identify patterns of AI-generated exceptions and report model drift.
• Submit corrections to AI workflows to improve performance.
• Produce SOX/compliance reporting and governance insights.
• Support broker network digital self-service and resolve escalated queries.
• Audit and quality control across automated and manual work.
• Suggest automation improvements and track outsourcing performance.
