Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead teams building ELERA: AI-native tooling, agentic platform, and an end-to-end delivery model. The role spans from first-line manager to senior manager, welcoming seasoned leaders moving into management and large teams.

We build software powering tens of thousands of retail stores globally, including POS, mobile, self-service, and back-of-store operations for major retailers.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in software development, including 3-10 years in leadership or manager role.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong software engineering background with a track record of shipping production systems at scale.
• Experience leading software engineers, hiring, performance management, and end-to-end delivery.
• Familiarity with modern Agile delivery, SDLC, and CI/CD in a continuous deployment environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and execute milestones with sprint tracking, risk, and quality oversight.
• Lead the team in hiring, performance, compensation, and career development.
• Maintain technical fluency and participate in design reviews with senior engineers and architects.
• Understand product architecture, backlog, customer needs, and market performance.
• Own production support and customer escalations with SLA adherence.
