Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions seeks a Principal Software Engineer for the Quality Engineering Platform. This role focuses on Java/Cucumber-based test runners, Selenium Grid, Docker-based execution, and OpenTelemetry traces, with leadership over agentic test-engineering workers.

You will own the platform architecture, ensure deterministic setup, and drive performance, reliability, and scalable test execution across the suite.

Formación

• Extensive software/quality engineering leadership experience at Staff/Principal level.
• Hands-on history changing framework or platform code in real execution environments.
• Profiling and improving execution performance, sharding, scheduling, and infrastructure utilization.
• Strong CI/CD, container orchestration, and pipeline-as-code experience.

Responsabilidades

• Own BDD platform architecture and governance across feature design, runners, domain actions, drivers, fixtures, data, and reporting.
• Eliminate shared state, test-order dependence, and environment contamination via deterministic setup and cleanup.
• Profile execution paths from discovery to teardown, improving parallel efficiency without overloading dependencies.
• Classify and eliminate flaky tests with root-cause analysis and quarantine strategies.
• Define risk-based CI policy for blocking and quarantine while preserving release confidence.
• Direct agents for test-gap analysis, scenario generation, failure clustering, and regression evidence.
