Universidade de Vigo in Spain is seeking a Researcher (PhD position) to identify needs and formulate use cases across precision medicine and computational epidemiology. The role involves preparing biomedical data, developing predictive prototypes and validation protocols, and contributing to ethics and regulatory WP work, with publication and documentation deliverables.

Responsabilidades

• Identify needs and formulate use cases in precision medicine, diagnosis, prognosis, risk stratification, public health and computational epidemiology.
• Prepare and document example clinical or biomedical data, considering variables, outcomes, bias, missingness, temporality and usage limitations.
• Develop predictive prototypes and validation protocols with metrics for discrimination, calibration, clinical utility, generalization and fairness.
• Support the adaptation of the AI lifecycle to healthcare settings, including traceability, monitoring, privacy, explainability and human evaluation.
• Contribute to WP5 on co-creation, KPIs and pilots, to WP6 on ethics and regulation, and to WP7 through modules, practical exercises, workshops and bootcamps.
• Produce reports, publications, repositories and technical documentation.
