Universidade de Vigo is seeking a Researcher to analyze architectures and training strategies for foundation models, LLMs and multimodal models in One Health use cases. You will design reproducible prototypes for pretraining, fine-tuning, RAG, prompting, evaluation and federated learning, while considering data, computing and privacy constraints.

You will prepare datasets, notebooks, scripts, containers and documentation reusable in WP4 and the AI Factory Academy, and contribute to validation,

• Personal interview. The interview will be conducted only with those candidates who, in the sum of the merits, reach a minimum of 50 points (punctuation: 15).

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and select architectures and training strategies for foundation models, LLMs and multimodal models in One Health use cases.
• Design reproducible prototypes for pretraining, fine-tuning, RAG, prompting, evaluation and federated learning.
• Prepare datasets, notebooks, scripts, containers and documentation reusable in WP4 and the AI Factory Academy.
• Contribute to validation, versioning, monitoring and responsible AI.
• Support WP5 use cases in health, genomic surveillance, environmental data, biomedicine and molecular discovery.
• Design WP7 modules, practical exercises and assessment materials, participate in courses, bootcamps and hackathons, and deliver reports and publications.

Design WP7 modules, practical exercises and assessment materials, participate in courses, bootcamps and hackathons, and contribute to reports, publications, repositories and deliverables.
