Job summary

BYD Denmark is hiring a Warranty Administrator who will manage and coordinate warranty and goodwill claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with manufacturer standards. You will submit claims, monitor reports, resubmit rejected claims, and maintain detailed documentation to support both customer satisfaction and profitability.

In this role you will work closely with the parts and Aftersales teams, handle invoice processing, and support daily administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in after-sales/warranty
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
• Danish and English language proficiency; Chinese a plus

Responsibilities

• Submit accurate warranty and goodwill claims on a daily and weekly basis.
• Monitor daily and weekly reports
• Resubmit all rejected claims promptly
• Administer warranty policy in the best interest of the manufacture and the customer aiming for profitability and efficiency.
• Maintain records of warranty submissions and customer contribution towards goodwill claims
• Liaise with parts department to ensure all parts replaced under warranty are retained for the correct period, are labelled, and made available to manufacture on request
• Follow up on payment of outstanding claims, processing service provide invoices
• Verify criteria required by factory
• Undertake other tasks as requested by the Aftersales Managers

About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating warranty and goodwill claims to ensure accurate and timely processing in line with manufacturer standards. You will handle claim submissions and follow-ups, monitor reporting and outstanding payments, and ensure rejected claims are corrected and resubmitted efficiently. The position also involves maintaining detailed documentation, collaborating closely with the parts department regarding warranty-related components, and supporting both customer satisfaction and business profitability through effective warranty administration. In addition, you will assist the Aftersales team with various administrative and operational tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience; familiarity with after-sales service

• Ability to use own initiative and multi-task

• Spoken and written Danish and English, Chinese is a plus

• Personable approach, with a polite and courteous manner

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
