Job summary

UNICEF Supply Division in Copenhagen operates a major automated warehouse hub supporting global procurement, storage, and distribution of medicines and essential supplies. The Technical Associate will perform planned preventive maintenance on warehouse automation and MHE, troubleshoot faults, and document activities to ensure safe, reliable operations.

They will handle corrective maintenance, coordinate with technicians and contractors, and assist in validation after repairs while upholding

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or automation systems is highly desirable.
Experience with automated warehouse equipment and PLC/HMI systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform planned preventive maintenance on warehouse automation and material handling equipment.
Conduct corrective maintenance, adjustments, and repairs within authorized competence.
Inspect equipment, identify root causes of failures, and support corrective actions.
Provide first-line support for mechanical, electrical, and equipment-control faults.
Respond promptly to breakdowns with a focus on safety and operations.
Document maintenance activities and maintain logs and records.
Support recovery, testing, and validation after repairs before return to operation.
Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and suppliers; verify work and document defects.
Maintain compliance with safety requirements and UNICEF quality standards.
