Job summary

UNICEF Copenhagen is seeking a Technical Associate to provide first-line support for WMS, WCS and related automation to ensure reliable material flow and high equipment availability. You will analyze incidents, coordinate recovery and support testing and documentation in a dynamic warehouse environment.

The role requires at least 6 years of hands-on experience with automated warehouse systems, strong diagnostic skills, and collaboration with operations, IT, and external providers.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education supplemented by a recognized vocational or technical qualification in automation technology or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of hands-on experience supporting WMS/WCS or automated warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line functional and technical support for WMS, WCS and related automation systems to ensure reliable material flow.
• Analyse incidents affecting order execution, inventory movements and equipment communication; coordinate escalation and recovery.
• Support testing, documentation and change-control for WMS/WCS/automation changes; ensure operational readiness for Campus 4.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, IT, Engineering, Quality and external providers; document results and actions.
• Undertake Technical Assistant duties to maintain operational continuity as needed.
• Maintain incident records, system logs and technical documentation; share knowledge through handovers.
