Job summary

RemoteConnect in Herning, Denmark, seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot and maintain industrial instruments and control systems, and perform calibration of instrumentation equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (technical certification preferred), 3+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, motor controls, and the ability to read schematics. A biometric passport is required for this contract role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems including PLCs, VFDs, and motor controls.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical components such as valves, pumps, and motors.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures for various instruments (pressure, temperature, flow).
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with industrial instruments and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation equipment.
• Install, test, and commission new instrumentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Document all work performed in maintenance logs.
