Job summary
UNICEF Copenhagen is seeking a Technical Associate to maintain and service warehouse automation and material handling systems, reporting to the Senior Technical Associate. You will help ensure safe, reliable operation of automated equipment, collaborate with engineering and external service providers, and support continuous improvement in a high-volume warehouse environment.
The role requires a technical qualification, strong hands-on maintenance experience, and fluency in English, with Danish
Qualifications
- Secondary education plus technical qualification in mechanical/electrical/automation disciplines.
- Additional certification in industrial maintenance or automation is an asset.
- At least 6 years in industrial maintenance or automated logistics or similar environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned preventive maintenance on warehouse automation and material handling equipment.
- Provide fault diagnosis and repair for automated systems and conveyors.
- Coordinate with external service providers and maintain documentation in CMMS.
- Support spare-parts control and warehouse operations during peak periods.
- Ensure safety, permits and lockout/tagout procedures are followed.
