Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Travel Consultant ESS Emergency Support Services Nordics (Remote) for Denmark. You will respond to requests, advise clients on travel options, and ensure compliance with travel policies.

The role requires flexibility for a 24/7 operation and remote work in the Nordics. The ideal candidate has extensive travel consulting experience, strong Amadeus skills, and excellent Danish and English communication.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a travel consultant.
• Strong expertise in GDS Amadeus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Danish and English.
• Solid knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer.
• Explain client travel policy and provide consultation.
• Fulfill requests regarding regulations, fares, exchanges, and penalties.
• Provide clients with industry information and options.
• Suggest improvements to operational processes and relationships with clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industries supported.

As a Travel Consultant, you are the face of our company. You’ll communicate and respond to requests for current and new clients, helping them travel smart and achieve more. • Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

About you

• You have extensive experience as a travel consultant
• Strong expertise in GDS Amadeus
• High level of verbal and written communication skills in Danish and English language, additional Nordic languages is a plus
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes

The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Denmark : [420k DNK - 474k DNK]
