Job summary

HBK (Hottinger Brüel & Kjær) is seeking a technically minded customer-facing support engineer to cover the UK and Nordics, with additional EU duties as required. You will join a team focused on delivering high-quality support across remote and on-site settings, in Royston, UK or Virum, Denmark.

The role combines pre-sales and post-sales activities, working with Sales, R&D, and Product Management, and involves some travel after the ramp-up period.

Qualifications

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering relevant to measurement tech.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles and training customers.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and post-sales support processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide active pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Assist in preparing quotations and tenders with technical input.
• Collaborate with EMEA Sales, R&D, and Product teams to resolve requests.
• Qualify technical customer requests and track them in the CRM system.
• Support exhibitions and customer events as needed.
• Travel after ramp-up period to customer sites or offices.
