Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an experienced Station Control engineer to join our Power Systems team in Denmark. You will design, implement, and integrate SCADA-based control and protection solutions for substations and HV/MV networks across major national and international projects.

Responsibilities span concept development, system studies, FAT/SAT and commissioning, plus open- and closed-loop control strategies, and protection schemes. A solid base in IEC standards and PSCAD/PSSE tools is valued.

Qualifications

Development of engineering specifications for plant and station control systems for substations in the 30-400 kV range.
Experience in SCADA, SRO, and network systems, including IEC 61850-based substation automation.
Development of protection philosophies, protection settings, and protection coordination.
Design, configure, and maintain station and plant control architectures with RTUs, PLCs, and protection relays.
Experience applying IEC/ISO standards within SCADA/ICS/DCS and networks.
Modelling, simulation, and performance studies using PSCAD, PSSE, DIgSILENT, MATLAB/Simulink.
Testing, validation, FAT, SAT, and on-site commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

Contribute across all project phases—from concept to commissioning.
Develop open and closed loop control strategies and protection schemes.
