Job summary

Ramboll seeks a High Voltage Substation Control Engineer to join our energy team. You will lead control systems design and protection concepts for large HV networks, working across project phases from concept to commissioning.

Based in Denmark, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary group and have opportunities to grow within Ramboll's global energy practice, with options for hybrid work and professional development.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
Relevant practical and professional experience in HV station projects.

Responsibilities

Develop engineering specifications for control and protection cabinets within the 30-400 kV range.
Configure and maintain station control systems, including RTUs and protection relays from Sprecher, ABB, and Siemens.
Perform testing and commissioning of station control installations using Omicron Universe test equipment.
Draft engineering specs for HV/MV equipment: transformers, GIS/AIS, reactive power compensation, filters, etc.
Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams through all phases from concept to commissioning.
