Job summary

Ramboll Group is seeking an experienced Station Control engineer to design and implement SCADA and protection solutions for major European infrastructure projects. You will contribute across substations and TSO interfaces, delivering from concept through to commissioning in a collaborative, global Power Systems team.

You’ll work on open and closed-loop control, protection philosophy, and SCADA architectures, using IEC 61850 and related standards, in a dynamic, professional environment that

Qualifications

• Experience in SCADA, SRO, and IEC 61850-based substation automation.
• Development of protection philosophies, protection settings, and protection coordination studies for both AC and DC systems.
• Design, configure, and maintain station and plant control architectures, including RTUs, PLCs, and protection relays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control philosophies for substations and HV/MV networks.
• Specify, design and apply control and protection solutions for national and international projects with a focus on substations and TSO interfaces.
• Develop open and closed-loop control strategies and protection schemes; design SCADA hardware, protocols and interfaces.
• Contribute across project phases from concept to commissioning.
