Job summary

Ramboll in Denmark is seeking a Substation Control Engineer to work on large-scale infrastructure projects across power transmission. You will design, specify, procure, and commission HV/MV equipment and protection systems, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in Copenhagen or Aarhus.

You will configure RTUs and protection relays, develop control cabinets for 30-400 kV, and support testing with Omicron Universe equipment. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required.
Experience in station control systems and HV/MV equipment preferred.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Develop specifications for control/protection cabinets 30–400 kV.
Configure station control systems and protect relays (Sprecher/ABB/Siemens).
Test and commission installations using Omicron Universe tools.
Draft specs for HV/MV gear including transformers and GIS/AIS.
Collaborate across project phases from concept to commissioning.
