Job summary

Vaillant A/S in Taastrup, Denmark invites applications for a Service Engineer to maintain and repair heat pumps at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will report to the Service Manager and work from your home base across Sjælland, with a focus on professional field service.

Ideal candidates hold a gas certificate, KMO II refrigeration, and a category I refrigeration certificate; you should be fluent in Danish with basic English and hold a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• A certificate for gas and at least KMO category II / refrigeration certificate; a category I refrigeration certificate is preferred.
• Experience with balancing (system commissioning/adjustment), troubleshooting, and servicing gas boilers and heat pumps.
• Fluent in spoken and written Danish; able to communicate at a basic level in English.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Repairing or replacing defective components to ensure safe and optimal system performance.
• Completing service, maintenance, and technical documentation accurately and on time.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and installers.
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve technical issues.
• Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations.
• Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Starting as soon as possible and covering Sjælland from your home base.

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our Service team in Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heat pumps at customer sites, ensuring high technical quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

As a Service Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Repairing or replacing defective components to ensure safe and optimal system performance
• Completing service, maintenance, and technical documentation accurately and on time
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and installers
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve technical issues
• Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations
• You will report to the Service Manager and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Preferred start date as soon as possible and you will work directly from your home base and primarily cover our customers across Sjælland
