Job summary

Trane Technologies in Denmark is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) & Project Engineer HVAC to support our datacenter customers. You will be the first point of contact for technical inquiries, attend site meetings, and coordinate technicians and resources weekly.

The role requires 5+ years in refrigeration or HVAC, a valid F-Gas certificate, and the ability to travel to Epinal, France and work across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in refrigeration or HVAC technology.
• F-Gas certificate and other necessary licenses.
• Able to drive and work in Denmark.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to manage complex technical projects.
• Experience as Field Service Representative.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnoses and repairs of equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, and service requests.
• Carry out commissioning and participate in on-call duties.
• Daily reporting of hours and activities to Service Department.
• Manage stock, materials, tools, and PPE in the service vehicle.
• Frequent trips to Epinal, France to follow up on orders and ensure customer satisfaction.

What’s In It For You

Trane is looking for a FSR & Project Engineer HVAC to support our datacenter customers in Denmark. You serve as first point of contact for technical inquires, attend site meetings with other commissioning vendors or Decision makers on site, work closely with PM to understand client’s schedule prioritization and allocate Technicians and resources accordingly on a weekly basis.

What You Will Do

• Perform complex diagnoses and repairs of equipment and systems at customer’s location.
• Perform complex preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests.
• Perform complex repairs of mechanical and electro-mechanical components of productive and non-productive equipment and machinery.
• Carry out commissioning and taking part in planned on call duties.
• Daily reporting of hours and activities by means of a digital work order, inspection list and time sheet to the Service Department.
• Manage own stock, materials, tools, and PPE in the service vehicle.
• Frequent trips to our factory in France (Epinal) to follow up on orders and ensure everything runs smoothly and meets customer requirements.

What You Will Bring

• This role plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by servicing complex products and equipment on assigned projects.
• Able to effectively manage complex technical projects.
• Effectively communicate, negotiate, and influence different stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, and lead by example through adhering to the leadership principles.
• May provide coaching, act as subject matter expert for less experienced technicians and customers and may provide sales support to account managers.
• Ability to perform all work in the service and maintenance field on all major types of equipment.
• Work under limited supervision.
• Use cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• This role requires around 5+ years of relevant experience in refrigeration or HVAC technology or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
• F-Gas certificate and other necessary licenses.
• Several years’ experience as Field Service Representative.
• Able to drive and work in Denmark.
• Strong ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
• Excellent written and oral communication, in English.
• Good laptop experience is preferred.
