Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to be the technical expert for refrigeration wholesalers and commercial customers across Denmark. You will diagnose problems, provide solutions, and support cutting-edge cooling applications while working with the Nordics Technical Support team.

Located ideally in Nordborg or Silkeborg with hybrid days, the role collaborates with sales and technical colleagues across Europe.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration degree or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of technical refrigeration experience.
• Familiarity with Danfoss AdapKool portfolio is valued.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Strong teamwork, resilience and customer focus.

The Impact You'll Make

You will be the technical expert that refrigeration wholesalers and commercial refrigeration customers across Denmark rely on to solve complex challenges and keep their systems running smoothly. Working with the industry's largest portfolio of refrigeration components, you will diagnose problems, provide solutions, and support cutting-edge applications. Your expertise will directly impact customer success and help drive the adoption of sustainable cooling technologies.
As part of our Technical Support team for the Nordics, you will collaborate with sales account managers and technical colleagues across Europe in a truly international environment. This role offers continuous learning – with new products launching regularly and diverse applications to master, you'll never stop growing. This role is ideally located either in Nordborg or Silkeborg with possibility of hybrid working days.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide high-class technical support to refrigeration customers and installers via phone and email, diagnosing issues and delivering expert solutions that keep their systems operational
• Guide customers through troubleshooting and answer product-related questions, using your expertise to solve technical challenges in real-time
• Support sales account managers and internal commercial teams with technical expertise, helping them deliver the right solutions to customers
• Use Salesforce CRM to document customer interactions, technical activities, and sales support to ensure seamless collaboration across teams
• Deliver internal and external training when needed, sharing your knowledge to build technical capability with customers and colleagues
  

What We're Looking For

• Degree as Foreman in Refrigeration, Certified Refrigeration Technician, or academic qualification related to refrigeration
• More than 5 years of technical experience in refrigeration applications with strong knowledge of typical refrigeration systems and knowledge of electrical components including controllers and electronic expansion valves
• Experience with the AdapKool portfolio from Danfoss (e.g., Pack-Controller, Case-Controller, System Manager) is highly valued
• Business and technically fluent in English (speaking and writing) – essential for international collaboration as well as strong communication skills
• Highly motivated team player with goodpersonal resilience, an analytical and proactive approach, and a customer-focused mindset
