Job summary

Vaillant Group in Denmark is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our service team. You will maintain and repair heat pumps at customer sites, ensuring safety, quality, and high customer satisfaction.

Based from your home base, you will cover customers across Sjælland, perform diagnostics, servicing gas boilers and heat pumps, document work, and communicate clearly with customers and installers. You will report to the Service Manager and collaborate with internal teams.

Qualifications

• A certificate for gas and at least KMO category II / refrigeration certificate; category I refrigeration certificate preferred.
• Experience with balancing, troubleshooting, and servicing gas boilers and heat pumps.
• Clear and professional communication with customers.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to join our Service team in Denmark. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heat pumps at customer sites, ensuring high technical quality, safety and customer satisfaction.

As a Service Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Repairing or replacing defective components to ensure safe and optimal system performance
• Completing service, maintenance, and technical documentation accurately and on time
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and installers
• Collaborating with internal departments to resolve technical issues
• Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and local regulations
• You will report to the Service Manager and work closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Preferred start date as soon as possible and you will work directly from your home base and primarily cover our customers across Sjælland

• You have an A certificate for gas and at least KMO category II / refrigeration certificate; a category I refrigeration certificate is preferred.
• You have experience with balancing (system commissioning/adjustment), troubleshooting, and servicing gas boilers and heat pumps.
• You communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• You are able to work independently, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks
• You hold a valid driver’s license
• You are fluent in spoken and written Danish and can communicate at a basic level in English
• You feel comfortable using mobile devices (tablet or laptop) for digital service reports and documentation
