Job summary

Körber Supply Chain DK is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer in Arden to own the mechanical discipline across complex automation projects. You will lead concept development, design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning with a strong focus on quality and standards compliance.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of drawings, BOMs, calculations, and reports while managing external resources and supplier evaluations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7–10 years of hands-on mechanical design and development of customer-specific machinery or automation.
• Proven experience as Lead Engineer or technical lead on complex projects.
• Strong proficiency with 3D CAD tools (Inventor/SolidWorks) and mechanical design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities across projects.
• Develop and review mechanical concepts, layouts, and detailed designs.
• Ensure compliance with machinery directives, safety standards and internal guidelines.
• Mentor and manage internal engineers and external resources.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments and technical evaluations.
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with project managers, electrical/software engineers, and suppliers.
• Deliver engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, calculations, reports).
• Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning and troubleshooting as needed.
