Job summary

Körber Supply Chain DK in Arden is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities across our project portfolio, from concept through commissioning.

You will guide design reviews, manage resources, ensure compliance with machinery directives and safety standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple mechanical engineering projects across stages (concept to commissioning).
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical engineering activities across projects.
• Develop and review mechanical concepts, layouts, and detailed designs.
• Ensure compliance with machinery directives, safety standards, and internal guidelines.
• Manage and support internal engineers and external resources.
• Conduct design reviews, technical evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the Mechanical Engineering team.
• Support procurement with technical specifications and supplier evaluations.
• Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, calculations, reports).
• Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
